Welcome to SalahScreen

By using SalahScreen ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SalahScreen, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

SalahScreen is a mindfulness and digital wellness application designed for Muslims. The App provides:

  • Prayer time notifications and reminders
  • App blocking during prayer times
  • Islamic reflections and remembrances (dhikr)
  • Screen time management features
  • Progress tracking for spiritual goals

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. App data and storage

SalahScreen works without a SalahScreen sign-in. The apps store preferences and feature records on your device, and use external services for functions such as prayer-time retrieval and subscriptions. Data practices differ between Android and iOS; see our Privacy Policy for the platform-specific details.

Device backup or transfer, content you choose to share, and external service records may create copies outside the app. Uninstalling removes the app's local copy but does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete provider records, system backups, shared content, or iOS keychain identifiers.

5. Subscriptions and payments

SalahScreen offers premium features through subscriptions. The app and store checkout show the price, currency, billing period, and any eligible trial or introductory offer before you confirm a purchase. Availability and eligibility can differ by plan, account, platform, and region.

iOS purchases

iOS purchases are billed through Apple's App Store to your Apple Account. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless canceled. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. If you do not want to renew a free or discounted trial, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before it ends. See Apple's subscription cancellation guidance.

Android purchases

Android purchases are billed through Google Play. For plans identified as auto-renewing, renewal continues under the displayed Google Play terms unless canceled. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play's subscription settings. See Google Play's subscription guidance.

Trials, restoration, and refunds

A trial or introductory offer is available only when shown for your account and selected plan. The purchase disclosures show any charge after the offer and the renewal terms. Uninstalling SalahScreen does not cancel a subscription.

RevenueCat supports purchase validation and premium entitlement. Restore Purchases checks the purchases available to the store account on your device. Refund and subscription-management requests follow the applicable store process and your applicable rights.

6. User Content and Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use the App in accordance with Islamic principles and values
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purposes
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users
  • Not attempt to interfere with the App's functionality

7. Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, location and prayer-time requests, subscriptions, platform-specific analytics and diagnostics, backups, sharing, and your choices. The app does not operate entirely offline, and deleting it does not remove every record held by third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SalahScreen or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

  • Prayer times are calculated based on location and established methods, but users should verify with local mosques
  • Islamic content is provided for general guidance and should not replace consultation with qualified scholars
  • App blocking and reminders depend on your permissions, operating-system behavior, device power management, and available schedules. Qibla guidance depends on sensor availability and calibration.
  • Features differ by platform and device. The Android release does not include the dedicated Fajr alarm or camera-based prayer verification.
  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalahScreen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SalahScreen operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

By using SalahScreen, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them.
